Pinetarsol Bath Oil gently cleanses while replenishing moisture to dry, itchy and inflamed skin. This non-greasy, mild formulation is ideal for treating large areas of the body while bathing.

It is also lanolin- and paraben-free.

Ingredients

Tar (Pine tar) 2.3% w/w.

Common Uses

  • Helps to relieve severe itching and reduce inflammation. Soothes & moisturises dry, inflamed skin while soaking in the bath
    • Suitable for dry skin, and suitable for infants, the elderly and those with sensitive skin.

Pharmacology

When emerging from the bath, a fine film of oil adheres to the skin, retarding evaporation and continuing moisturisation of the skin. The combination of oils and pine tar has an antipruritic, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect. The oils and pine tar are finely dispersed for an even distribution on the skin and optimum therapeutic effect. Pinetarsol Bath Oil has no unpleasant smell or heavy, greasy feel, and is less slippery than most bath oils.
