WHAT IS PICO TIGHT?
In Stamford Skin Centre, we use Pico Tight, also called Fractional Pico laser for skin rejuvenation.
A non-ablative fractional laser treatment which has minimal downtime, no pain and minimal or no epidermal injury, leading to improvements in the skin texture, wrinkling, and pigmentation.
HOW DOES PICO TIGHT WORK?
Pico Tight laser creates controlled small areas of “damage” under your skin which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin as a part of your normal healing process.
By increasing the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin, we can achieve improvement of pore tightening, reduction of fine lines and skin rejuvenation.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
Numbing cream will be applied for 30 minutes, making the treatment painless with little to no downtime.
During Pico Tight treatment, you’re likely to hear tiny popping sounds and feel a tingling sensation over the treated area.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE TREATMENT?
You can expect pinkish to red spots on the skin for up to 2-3 days after treatment so keeping skin moisturized is important during recovery.
You should also try to shield your face from the sun.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
Similar to using topical products daily, you can do as many sessions as you want to maintain your skin.
The interval time between each Pico Tight session will be 01 month.
